Klyne Esopus Historical Society Museum is located in the former Klyne Esopus Reformed Church. The church, the oldest in the town, served the community for more than 200 years. It closed in the 1960s and was saved from demolition in order to serve as the town historical society and museum. The museum opened to the public in 1986 due to the dedication of an extraordinary group of volunteers.
The 190 year old brick structure is cared for solely by donations and needs repairs. The pressing need is repairing the windows and purchasing interior storm windows that comply with historic preservation standards. Consider making a contribution or adopting a window.
